Empowering Entrepreneurs to Grow With Clarity, Strategy & Soul

Business isn’t just what I do — it’s how I’ve shaped my life.

Since 2004, I’ve been growing businesses — my own and others’. I’ve worn many hats: marketing strategist, event manager, coach, author, property entrepreneur, speaker, and mum. And through it all, one thread has remained: I help people grow with intention, clarity and impact.

My sweet spot is strategy. I’m most alive when I’m helping women in business reconnect to their vision, refine their marketing, or reimagine how they run things — whether that’s in business, short-term rental, or life. I bring both structure and support to the table, combining decades of experience with a grounded, human approach.

These days, you’ll find me doing three main things:

Helping women grow and market their businesses through coaching & strategy sessions, and speaking;

Co-managing Flairbnb, a short-term rental property management company I co-founded with my best friend (which now manages 50+ homes across regional Victoria)

Living the juggle, raising my teenage daughter, staying true to my values, and supporting other mums in business to do the same — without burning out.

My Entrepreneurial Story

I launched my first business in 2004 with a simple idea: provide project support to events that needed an extra set of hands. Over the years, that little business evolved — as did I.

From running expos and managing regional events, to building a full-service marketing and e-business agency with my partner-Craig, to writing books, coaching clients and building a growing STR business — I’ve always followed what felt purposeful. And I’ve never been afraid to pivot.

There’s been growth and reinvention. There have been moments of burnout and times of deep joy. When my daughter was born in 2011, everything changed — including how I did business. I stepped away from big events and staff, created strong boundaries, and moved into the digital marketing space, supporting mums like me who were craving balance alongside success.

I wrote When Business Meets Baby to tell that story — and remind women they weren’t alone.

Over time, I rebranded my business and refocused. I stopped chasing every shiny idea and got clear on where I could serve best. I realised I didn’t want to just “coach” or “consult” — I wanted to dig deep into the layers of business with my clients, getting to the heart of what works and what doesn’t. I wanted to combine strategy with realness, depth with practicality, experience with empathy.

In 2019, I published my second book Authentic, Dynamic, Savvy — a complete guide to modern marketing, paired with a workbook and planner. That same year, Flairbnb was born over a casual conversation with my lifelong friend Eve Fisher. She asked for help with a website. I asked for a partnership. And together, we built something much bigger than we imagined — a growing STR brand that’s weathered a pandemic, expanded across multiple regions, and consistently delivers great guest stays.

Property has since become a big part of my life. I’ve completed training in renovations, styling, real estate and property brokering. I now mentor others wanting to get into STR or grow a property-based business with purpose and profit in mind.

What I Know For Sure

Growth doesn’t have to mean hustle.

You can run a business that feels good and makes money.

Balance isn’t a destination — it’s a practice.

I work at it every day. Like you, I’m a work-in-progress.

Marketing doesn’t have to be hard.

When you have a clear strategy and strong brand foundations, it becomes easeful and aligned.

You don’t have to niche tightly to succeed.

I’ve worked across industries — with councils, NFPs, micro businesses, and growing brands. I thrive in variety, and I bring that wide-angle lens to every client I support.

Life Now

These days, I work from my home office in regional Victoria (shared with my Lab-cross border-collie/Beagle - Lily), connecting with clients and managing a team across Australia and Asia via Zoom. I’m a board member for THE Rural Woman Co-operative, Director of Tourism Mid-West Victoria and sit on the body corporate committee for the investment properties we own in Ballarat. I now mentor others wanting to get into STR or grow a property-based business with purpose and profit in mind — through mentoring, and my signature STR Hosting Success Blueprint course, which walks you step-by-step through creating a profitable, guest-ready property with clarity and confidence. I’m still passionate about supporting mums in business. I still nerd out over strategy and tech. I still believe in the power of intentional growth. And I still measure success by how happy my daughter is, how supported my clients feel, and how aligned I am with my own values. If we work together, know this: I’ll go deep. I’ll care about your business like it’s my own. I’ll call out what needs fixing, help you take brave steps, and remind you to find joy in the process. Because success isn’t about being the busiest, loudest or flashiest. It’s about doing work that feels like yours.
